Davidson County (Tenn.) Deed Book

Abstract This is a deed book from Davidson County, TN in the late 1700s and early 1800s. The book contains the names of people who own deeds of land in the county at that time. The names are accompanied by a description of the land indentures that act as receipts of their ownership. Dates of entries range from 1785-1831. John R. Patrick Deed

Abstract

This collection contains one deed dated February 1, 1841. It was written by High Sheriff John R. Coffey of Jackson County in Alabama stating that the lands mentioned in the document, ceded by Samuel M. David and set to open auction, were purchased by John R. Patrick for 49 dollars. This granted him, his heirs, and attendants all rights to the property.
